The objective of the Argentine-German University Center (CUAA-DAHZ) is to stimulate and strengthen the institutional, academic and scientific association between Argentine and German university institutions for the development of innovative programs in order to create binational double degree programs. The Center finances, among others, the "Argentine-German Program for the Promotion of Binational Degree Programs", aimed to develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses with dual degrees (all areas of knowledge), and the bilateral program "I.DEAR (Ingenieros Deutschland-Argentina)" for exchange projects between Argentina and Germany in engineering courses at the undergraduate level in Argentina and the bachelor's or master's level in Germany (credit and internship mobility). In addition, the CUAA-DAHZ provides funds for the strengthening and promotion of scientific research, funding joint research projects within the framework of the Binational Careers of the CUAA-DAHZ between the Argentine and German partners. The decision-making body of the Center is the binational Directing Council, made up of Argentine and German institutions and representatives (MinEdu, MINCyT, ACTAA, BMBF, DAAD, HRK and a representative of Argentine universities).
In 2018, 39 projects are funded by CUAA-DAHZ: 18 double degree courses, 10 I.DEAR exchange projects and 11 seed projects, involving 46 universities in Germany and Argentina.
