High-pressure torsion (HPT)  and high-pressure sliding (HPS)  are typical SPD processes under high pressure for significant grain refinement even in hard-to-deform materials [3,4]. Whereas the HPT process uses a disk or ring shape of samples, the HPS process a sheet or rod shape of samples. For both processes, it is important to up-scale the sample size for practical application. This presentation shows our recent development that the incorporation of incremental feeding in both processes leads to an increase in the SPD-processed area without increasing the machine capacity [5-8]. These SPD processes, called the incremental feeding HPT (IF-HPT) and the incremental feeding HPS (IF-HPS), were applied to a Ni-based superalloy (Inconel 718) [5-8], a Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy (F1295) , and a high strength aluminum alloy (A2024) . It was successful to increase the SPD-processed areas as large as 100x100 mm2 of Inconel 718 alloy using the IF-HPS process  and as 60mm diameter disk of A2024 alloy using the IF-HPT process . It is shown that ultrafine grains of the order of ~100 nm were obtained and superplasticity with elongations more than 400% was achieved.
